Luscious Southlake TX Real Estate

Another upscale community situated between the Alliance and DFW International airports along a vibrant commercial corridor is the City of Southlake, Texas.  One drive through this “home town” and buyers look no further.  Less than 25,000 residents of Southlake TX real estate enjoy four top-notch independent school districts, high-quality residential choices, excellent commercial growth, and a progressive government directing an exciting era of opportunity and a bright future.

The graceful Southlake homes are reminiscent of southern estate.  Southlake TX homes, neighborhoods, and business districts reflect the prestige of a prospering city that treasures its roots, charm, and character.  Known for its old-fashioned values and healthy environment to raise a family, the city has developed some of the best parks and recreation facilities in the area that intersperse with lovely Southlake real estate.  Soccer fields, softball, baseball, a citywide trail, along with the proactive purchase of additional land ensure future activities during the area’s growth.

The Carroll Independent School District serves most of the neighborhoods, assisted by the neighboring ISDs for Northwest, Keller, and Grapevine/Colleyville.  Carroll consistently ranks above average for standardized tests and as “exemplary” by the Texas Education Agency.  The other districts have enjoyed similar successes.  Building on this foundation, the community looks to the future with an eye for improving the opportunities available to its children and youth.

Many private schools, colleges, and universities are also available in the region.
Modern history records 360 acres of homesteading on what is now Dove Road.

By 1871, settlers from Dade County, Georgia had founded White’s Chapel Church located on White Chapel Boulevard.  The town incorporated in 1956 and officially became a city in 1965.  Oh, what a city it has become!

A broad spectrum of retail shopping venues including the newly developed town square with turn-of-the-century architecture that features upscale retail stores and boutique shops add a splash of a trendy feel.  The wealth of commercial development, including 600 businesses, stabilizes the community and the nearby Baylor Medical Center expansion has drawn other medical centers to the area.

With so much positive movement in the economy, so much thought put into the neighborhoods, and so much community involvement and caring, this small city simply hits the spot.
