North Richland Hills TX Real Estate

Juxtaposed near the Alliance and DFW International airports, North Richland Hills real estate is surrounded by nine of Tarrant County’s ten major business districts in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex.  More than 63,000 residents, 1,200 businesses, and 30 major employers have turned the city into the fourth city in Tarrant County to reach the $2 billion level of appraised property value.  Even so, the cost for a North Richland Hills average new home is a reasonable $206,000 and rents average $620.

The “user friendly” North Richland Hills real estate sits on the western edge of the country’s highway hub at the interchange of Loop 820, Highways 26, 121, and 183.  That busy location has not prevented residents of North Richland Hills homes and neighborhoods from maintaining a low crime rate, an excellent public school system, a wonderful library, and a nationally recognized parks and recreation program.

Most students attend schools in the Birdville Independent School District and other private schools such as Fort Worth Christian School.  The Northeast Campus of Tarrant County College is located in the city.

In addition to the enthusiastic sports program in the schools, there are great recreational leagues and the largest amateur ice arena in the Southwest United States that is home to the Texas Tornadoes hockey team.  The city’s park and recreation department opened a state-of-the-art 16 court tennis facility, a 9-field soccer complex, a handicap-accessible playground, a fast-pitch complex, and a large city park with ball fields, trails, a nature center and an outdoor pavilion.

Iron Horse Golf Course, one of the best municipal golf courses in the state, offers 18 holes of challenging Dick Phelps golf over scenic creeks and under a railroad trestle.  The 60-acre NRH2O Family Water Park features the world’s tallest and longest uphill water roller coaster, a 16,000-square-foot wave pool, water slides, a two-person tube slide, and an extensive water playground—a must for residents and visitors to the area.

More than 500 stores and restaurants at locations such as North Hills Mall and The Crossing Shopping Center bring every necessity and comfort to the neighborhood.  A thriving economy includes the UICI The Insurance Center, Kimberly-Clark, Triad Financial Corporation, North Hills Hospital, Bates Container, Inc., Tyson Prepared Foods, Sealy Stearns Foster and Bassett Bedding.
